Sitting in the heart of Achiltibuie, the Summer Isles Hotel site has been a hub for the communities of Coigach since at least 1873.
After a substantial refurbishment as part of the Tanera project, the iconic hotel will reopen in 2027.
The Summer Isles Hotel has always been a point of connection for visitors, families and communities. While we are not taking requests for reservations at this time, in collaboration with Coigach Heritage, we invite former guests and local visitors to share pictures and memories of the hotel.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
The restoration of The Summer Isles Hotel extends the same thoughtful approach guiding the ongoing restoration of Tanera Mòr.
The hotel holds its own rich heritage and place within the community, and its refurbishment aims to preserve this character, using repurposed materials and sympathetic design to breathe new life into a cherished landmark.
